When you leave a piece of jewelry with Diamonds & Gold, you are leaving it in the hands of an American Gem Society member and Accredited Gem Laboratory. We meet the highest standard of ethics and conduct ourselves according to the best practices established in the industry.
A GIA Graduate Gemologist and AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser will evaluate your jewelry using the most complete and professional methods.
We will:
• Clean and assess the piece for repairs or maintenance
• Evaluate and measure the gemstones and diamonds
• Weigh the piece for precious metal content
• Photograph, grade, and assess the value of your piece
At the end of the process, we'll give you a full description and appraised value of your piece in writing that you can submit to your insurance company. Typical appraisal pricing is $200 per item, or $150 for an update with an existing appraisal, or by estimate for one of a kind unique pieces, or large estates.
